Overview

The Center's Role in PCS Rsearch

The UCSF Stanford Center for Research & Innovation in Patient Care plays a major role in Patient Care Services (PCS) research at both Stanford Hospital & Clinics and the UCSF Medical Center. The Center:

  • facilitates research,
  • manages the process of PCS research view, approval and monitoring
  • fosters the integrity of proposed reseach, and
  • helps disseminate research results to benefit ongoing patient care and staff development.

See the Stanford PCS Review Process and the UCSF PCS Review Process for detailed information about the research application and approval process.

UCSF Medical Center Collaborative Clinical Research Initiative (CCRI)

The CCRI grants program is an innovative joint venture between UCSF Medical Center and UCSF School of Nursing to foster clinical research collaboration between faculty and clinical staff that advances improvements in clinical patient care quality, safety, outcomes and costs. New CCRI Projects are funded throughout the year as funds permit-first come, first funded. Select CCRI Grants to learn more about the program and CCRI Guidelines for information on the grant application process.
