Course Description

This two hour hands on course is designed to help you improve your poster design skills. The workshop has goal is to make you more efficient at using PowerPoint to produce a poster for a conference. The topics covered included:

• What makes a great poster?
• Poster layout
• Page Setup
• Setting the View
• Adding Text
• Saving graphics online
• Adding graphics
• Adding whole PPT slide
• Lining things up
• Adding background
• What's on the drawing toolbar
• Adding shapes
• Adding photos
• Printing handouts
• Getting your poster printed
